Anti-oppressive Facilitation Training: Group Bookings

We offer anti-oppressive facilitation skills training to organisations and groups which we will tailor to the focus of your group.  The training covers facilitation techniques and anti-oppressive approaches.

The type of facilitation covered includes facilitating meetings within your own organisation, group facilitation as part of your service delivery, and facilitation for radical organising.

The modules available to book are:

  • Facilitation 101
  • Creating & Holding Space
  • Understanding Group Dynamics & Working with Conflict
  • Practical Tools (choose a focus of: in-person, online or hybrid facilitation)
  • Disrupting Oppression within Groups
  • Power, Privilege & the Facilitator.

Who is this training for?

This training is suitable for people who have some facilitation experience already, and works best when delivered to a group who have similar levels of experience. 

‍

We welcome bookings from grassroots groups, charitable organisations, unions, funders, local government,  and other institutions who are looking to develop their staff's facilitation skills.

What does the programme involve?

The training is flexible in delivery. There are 6 modules available which can be booked as a set of 3 or 6. Three modules take a day to deliver, but these hours can be split over several non-consecutive days if needed.

Fees

This training is free for volunteer run & grassroots groups. We operate a sliding scale fee for organisations with an annual income. A full breakdown of costs is available in the training guide linked at the top of this page.

Running date

These trainings can be requested and delivered throughout the year. We request a minimum of 6 weeks notice between the date the booking is confirmed and delivery date.
